It is located in the bay of Tamarindo, within the Las Baulas National Marine Park. It is distinguished by its gentle waves and crystal clear waters, although with strong currents and rocks barely submerged, with yellowish sand, lush vegetation, reefs and landscape in general. It is arch-shaped and has a small slope, so the safety for swimmers is very good.
Tropical climate all year round. The life zone corresponds to “Tropical Dry Forest, transition to Humid”. The average temperature oscillates around 32 °C. Tamarindo’s climate has two seasons, the dry season and the wet season.
